In Sri Lanka 60% of the population above the age of 30 years have been fully vaccinated so far, the Head of the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid 19 Outbreak Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said.
Speaking to the Daily News, he said that so far Sri Lanka has received 23 million doses of vaccinations.
He also noted that the vaccination drive will continue unhindered despite the Quarantine Curfew enforced throughout the country
