The pneumonia condition of the lion named ‘Thor’ who was infected with COVID-19 at the Dehiwala Zoo has aggravated, Minister of State for Wildlife Wimalaweera Dissanayake said.
He said special treatment is being given to the animal at the Zoo.
The Minister of State also said the lion also has developed skin lesions.
He said the lion’s health has clearly deteriorated and zoo officials were keeping a close eye on it.
