The Government has started administering Sinopharm vaccines to students who are going abroad for higher education and further education, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said.
Accordingly, the vaccination programme will be available for students going to countries where full prior vaccination is a requirement.
Those who require the vaccination will need to register in advance, and the Government has announced that the registration process began last Saturday (2).In order to register, the students can log into the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 website www.army.lk/covid19, and the registration can be done by visiting the PRE-DEPARTURE VACCINATION –STUDENTS link. The applicants will be given the date, time and place of vaccination via SMS within two days of registration.
