The highest number of vaccines given in a single day in relation to the COVID-19 immunization programme in the country was recorded yesterday with 384,763 persons getting vaccinated.
Accordingto the Epidemiology Unit statistics, 338,572 doses of Sinopharm were provided as the 1st dose, while 35,410 doses were administered as the 2nd dose.
Meanwhile, the first dose of the Sputnik vaccine was given to 3,365 persons.
