The highest number of vaccines given in a single day in relation to the COVID-19 immunization programme in the country was recorded yesterday with 337,445 persons getting vaccinated.
Accordingto the Epidemiology Unit statistics, 289,122 doses of Sinopharm were provided as the 1st dose, while 32,385 doses were administered as the 2nd dose.
Meanwhile, 36 doses of the AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine were provided as the 2nd dose, the first dose of the Sputnik vaccine was given to 15,202 persons.
