The Health Ministry today recruited over 4,200 persons for Nursing Training and 10 out of them symbolically received their recruitment letters from Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi at the Ministry auditorium.
They are to undergo three-year training at 15 nursing schools countrywide.
The Ministry has currently paid attention to increase the nursing cadre in the country. Health Ministry Secretary Major General Dr Sanjeewa Munasinghe and Health Services Director General Dr Asela Gunawardena also participated.
