Vanni District MP Cader Masthan has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been directed to a treatment centre.
Masthan had to be quarantined for fourteen days due to his close association with a COVID-19 infected person while attending a funeral in Mannar when the Pandemic broke out last year. But he did not get infected at that time.
