Modara Police arrested a 30-year-old woman with narcotics worth Rs.9.5 million at the Bodhiya Junction, yesterday. She was said to have 1kg of hashish, 500g of methamphetamine, and 250g of heroin.
The woman was arrested at a roadblock, when police raided the three-wheeler she was travelling in. The three-wheeler driver has also been arrested.
The woman has been identified as a resident of Wellampitiya. Investigations are continuing.
