The US State Department has issued a travel advisory warning against travel to Sri Lanka and Japan due to COVID transmission concerns.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the US issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Sri Lanka and Japan due to COVID-19, indicating a very high level of COVID-19 in the country.
Americans should avoid all travel to Japan and advised anyone who does have to visit the country to get vaccinated prior to traveling there, stated the CDC.
