Ten staffers of the Opposition Leader’s office in Parliament have contracted COVID-19, Opposition Leader’s office sources today said.
SJB parliamentarian Mujibur Rahaman was tested positive for the virus on May 20 while the Opposition Leader and his wife were confirmed to have tested positive for Covid 19 on May 23. Two days later SJB Parlamentarian Nalin Bandara contracted the virus.
Health Authorities said that all close contacts of these parliamentarians have been directed to self quarantine
