2,573 more individuals recovered from COVID-19 bringing the total recoveries in the country to 146,362, the Epidemiology Unit confirmed.
According to the epidemiology unit there are only 27,174 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 174,861.
The country has also witnessed 1325 deaths from the virus.
