Police arrested 829 persons for violating quarantine regulations like wearing face masks and maintaining social distance in the 24-hours ending at 6am today, Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana stated.
He said it was the highest number of arrests made in a single day since Police began operations to nab quarantine law violators on October 30, 2020.
