The Ministry of Health today (23) decided to convert 50 Ayurvedic Hospitals islandwide as Intermediate COVID Treatment Centers.
This decision was reached at a special discussion held at the Ministry of Health under the patronage of Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi following the instructions given by the President.
State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurvedic Hospitals Development, and Community Health Minister Sisira Jayakody, also participated in the discussion.
