The results of about 88 candidates who sat for the A/L Exam 2020 have been suspended as those candidates reportedly have committed frauds and malpractices while answering question papers.
The Department of Examinations is investigating this matter now. They would not be allowed to sit for public exams for five years if they were found guilty of the offence, Kurunegala District Senior Education Director W.M.Balasooriya said.
