Advanced Level results released

Over sixty four per cent candidates who sat for the GCE Advanced Level Examination have qualified for university entrance, the Examinations Department stated.

The results of 2020 Advanced Level Examination were released online yesterday and can be viewed through the official website of the Department of Examinations – www.doenets.lk.

According to the Examinations Department, a total of 194,297 candidates out of the total of 301,771 candidates, who sat for the exam, have qualified to apply for university admission.

Last year’s Exam was held from October 12 to November 6 amidst the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The Department said dates for applying for re-correction of answer scripts would be notified later. Re-correction applications will have to be submitted through an online process. Any inquiries regarding the results can be directed to the following contact numbers:
