Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most parts of the island in the evening or night, stated the Meteorology Department.
Heavy falls about 100 mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces during the morning.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
