Arrival and Departure lobby areas of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) were closed for visitors with immediate effect until further notice, the BIA announced today.
It announced that the decision was taken as a preventive measure in the wake of COVID-19.
However, the functions of the airport will continue normally giving due regard to health guidelines.
