About 1,900 PHIs are to be deployed countrywide to arrest errant traders selling outdated and food during the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year festive season.
The PHI Association has planned to conduct raids on errant traders since from today, said Kurunegala District Senior PHI A. Jayasekara, speaking to the Daily News in Kurunegala, yesterday.
