177 persons were arrested yesterday for not wearing face masks and failing to maintain social distancing, said the Police Media Spokesperson Ajith Rohana.
DIG Rohana said that out of these individuals, 134 persons were arrested from Western Province. Accordingly, 39 persons from Colombo and 45 from Gampaha and 50 others from the Kalutara district.
