Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Sabaragamuwa, Western, North-western, Central and North-central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night, stated the Meteorology Department.
Fairly heavy falls above 75 mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Western and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in Eastern and Uva provinces and in Hambanthota district.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
