The Registrations of Persons Department (RPD) yesterday requested the public reserve a prior date before visiting the Department offices to obtain the National Identity Cards (NICs).
The Department said taking an appointment is mandatory and no one would be allowed to visit without a prior appointment.
Persons who wish to visit and obtain NICs are requested to call 0115226126 or 0115226100 or contact the Department offices of relevant Divisional Secretariats.
