CMC introduces Automated Appointment Booking System

The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) introduced an Automated Appointment Booking System for CMC to obtain its services.

The introduction of the Automated Appointment Booking System was held at the Colombo Municipal Council premises under the patronage of CMC Mayor Rosy Senanayake yesterday.

“In order to provide CMC services efficiently and effectively, the telephone number 0112208208 has been introduced to make an appointment before meeting the relevant officer for the services that are needed to be obtained,” Senanayake said.

These activities are carried out in collaboration with Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) and appointments can be made by calling the above number on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Those who wish to avail themselves of this automated service should call 0112208208.

After selecting the relevant section, the NIC number must be added along with the telephone number to confirm your identity. This will enable the user to meet the designated officer on a designated day to resolve their issue. The CMC Mayor also said steps are being taken to introduce an e-channeling system to enable the public to book an advance time and date for the forthcoming COVID-19 Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccination programme in the Colombo area.
