A team of Sri Lanka Army’s Special Force (SF) parachutists alongside Pakistan’s armed forces, attaching greater importance to the annual commemoration of the Pakistan Day on 25 March displayed their skills falling from a height of about 12,000 feet, amid roars of applause in Islamabad.

Parachutists, Major J.H.S Pushpakumara, Major H.M.L.B Herath, Staff Sergeant I.G.A Samankumara, Corporal B.A.P.J.J.P Bandara and Corporal W.V.K Jayasooriya representing the Sri Lanka Army joined the display.

Pakistan Day is observed as a public holiday in all over the country where the early morning military and civilian parades with gun salutes are held while all state and private sector buildings remain decorated with national flags and colourful bunting.
