Showers or thundershowers will occur at few places in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kaluthara, Galle and Matara districts after 1.00 p.m, stated the Meteorology Department.
A few showers will occur in Uva and Eastern provinces and in Hambanthota, Mathale and Nuwaraeliya districts.
Fairly heavy falls about 50 mm can be expected at some places.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere over the island .
Misty conditions can be expected in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces during the morning.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
