A total of 6,978 individuals have been recovered from COVID-19 since February 2.
The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 65,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 65,053 and there are only 4,817 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 70,235.
The country has also witnessed 365 deaths from the virus.
