Army Commander and Head of the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 General Shavendra Silva confirmed that there is no plan to lock-down the country at this moment despite several cases of the new Coronavirus variant being detected in the country.
He dismissed reports of a possible lock-down as being rumours.
