Chief Incumbent of the Induragara Sri Jethawana Viharaya, Pagnajothy Wansalankara Sasana Keerthi Sri Panditacharya Most Venerable Madampella Siri Sudhamma Nayake Thera of the Sri Lanka Ramanna Sector passed away at the age of 96 on Sunday evening.
The religious, social and the educational service he rendered to the country is invaluable. Among the Nayake Thera’s many distinguished students are Senior Professor of the University of Kelaniya, Ven. Rajakiya Panditha Induragare Dhammarathana Thera.
The Nayake Thera’s cremation will take place at the Gala Mukalana Public Grounds on February 10.
