1018 more individuals recovered from COVID-19.
The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 70,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 70,429 and there are only 5,596 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 76,428.
The country has also witnessed 403 deaths from the virus
