The government has no intention of hiding any information regarding COVID-19 cases, State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle said.
Responding to a question from MP Hesha Withanage she said that the government is not disseminating false information through the media. Withanage accused the government of hiding the true COVID dead figures.
Dr.Fernandopulle said that while new cases are being reported, those recovering are released from hospitals simultaneously, adding that all data reported are accurate. She said the government has taken all possible measures to control the spread of the COVID virus.
