Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi informed the Parliament that burial of Covid-19 patients would not be permitted under any circumstance.
Sri Lanka will continue to cremate Covid-19 victims as per expert advice.
She said that the decision will not be withdrawn on religious, political, or other grounds.
