A few showers will occur in Eastern province, stated the Meteorology Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Sabaragamuwa province and in Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
Mainly fair weather will prevail over other parts of the island.
Misty conditions can be expected at Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces during the morning
