A stock of 1,128kg of Turmeric smuggled to the country was seized by the Modara Police during a raid carried out in the Modara area, the Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said.
Two suspects have been arrested with smuggled turmeric concealed in 24 parcels.
