More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from India, Japan, Australia and Qatar were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 29 from India, 30 from Qatar, 45 from Japan and 157 from Australia are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

Meanwhile, 30 from Maldives, 32 from Italy, 10 from Bangladesh, 159 from Ukraine, five from Malaysia, 35 from South Africa, 75 from the UAE and 19 from Singapore are expected to arrive here within the day.
