More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from UAE, Qatar, Maldives, Japan and Australia were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 23 from Maldives, 36 from Qatar, 369 from UAE, 29 from Australia and 46 from Japan are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

Meanwhile, 70 from UAE, nine from Indonesia, ten from Maldives and 72 from Singapore are expected to arrive here within the day.
