The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country surpasses 60,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 60,233 and 52,566 of them have made complete recoveries.
There are only 7,379 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The country has also witnessed 288 deaths from the virus.
