Education Minister Prof. G.L.Peiris granted scholarships to the ten students who scored a total of 200 marks at last year’s Grade Five Scholarship Examination and to Udith Shaluka, who passed the Braille examination with distinction, for their further education.
This was sponsored by CL Synergy, with the aim of helping children with learning disabilities to further their education.
This institute provides monthly scholarships to gifted children for schooling as well as university education if they have access to university. This is the first time that the institute has awarded scholarships to outstanding students in the Grade Five Scholarship.
Education Minister G.L.Peiris has expressed his gratitude to the institution for its support in encouraging talented children and strengthening their learning process.
State Education Minister Vijitha Berugoda, Education Ministry Additional Secretary Hemantha Premathilake and CL Synergy Managing Director Roshan Silva were also present.
