State Minister of Transport Dilum Amunugama says that another three months grace period will be given to renew expired driving and vehicle revenue licenses.
He said that a Gazette Notification will be issued for this purpose and no such grace period will be granted later. Amunugama was speaking to the media in Kandy yesterday (11). He said the public can make prior reservations before going to the Department of Motor Traffic, Werahera and the Regional Offices if the driving licenses and revenue licenses have expired.
