646 more individuals recovered from COVID-19 bringing the total recoveries in the country to 43,267, the Epidemiology Unit confirmed.
According to the epidemiology unit there are only 6,026 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 49,537.
The country has also witnessed 244 deaths from the virus.
