535 more individuals recovered from COVID-19 bringing the total recoveries in the country to 37,252, the Epidemiology Unit confirmed.
According to the epidemiology unit there are only 6,908 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 44,371.
The country has also witnessed 211 deaths from the virus.
