Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces and in Kaluthara district in the evening or night, stated the Department of Meteorology.
Light showers are likely in Batticaloa, Ampara and Hambanthota districts in the morning too. Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
