More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Dubai were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 41 from Maldives, 48 from Qatar, 42 from Dubai and 158 from Saudi Arabia are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

All returnees have been subjected to PCR testing at the airport premises.

Meanwhile, three from Maldives, 35 from Bangladesh, one from Singapore, 218 from Malaysia, six from China and six from India are expected to arrive in the country within the day.
