More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from Qatar and Bahrain were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 148 from Qatar and 288 from Bahrain are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

All returnees have been subjected to PCR testing at the airport premises.

Meanwhile, 54 from Abu Dhabi, 34 from Italy, 56 from UK and 28 from India are expected to arrive in the country within the day.
