More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from Jordan, Qatar and China, India and Oman were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 284 from Jordan, 49 from Qatar, two from China, 54 from Oman and some passengers from India are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

All returnees have been subjected to PCR testing at the airport premises.
