More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Qatar were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 13 from Abu Dhabi, 19 from Saudi Arabia and 64 from Qatar are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

All returnees have been subjected to PCR testing at the airport premises.

Meanwhile, 160 from Ukraine, four from Turkey, three from Indonesia, two from Dubai and 22 from Singapore are expected to arrive in the country within the day.
