More Lankans stranded abroad return

Another group of expatriates from Qatar, Malaysia, UAE and India were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said.

Accordingly, 35 from UAE, 14 from Malaysia, 119 from Qatar and 55 from India are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.

All returnees have been subjected to PCR testing at the airport premises.

Meanwhile, five from China, 50 from Oman and three from Germany are expected to arrive in the country within the day.
