The Government has decided to cremate the bodies of COVID-19 victims which were unclaimed by relatives, on Government expense.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed the authorities to cremate the bodies which were unclaimed by relatives on Government expense as per the health guidelines on the prevention of COVID-19, stated the Department of Government Information.
