The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 35,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 35,329 and there are only 7,174 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 42,702.
The country has also witnessed 199 deaths from the virus
