The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 18,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 18,304 and there are only 6,106 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 24,532.
The country has also witnessed 122 deaths from the virus
