COVID-19 cases - 30,613, Recoveries - 22,831, Deaths - 146

Up to yesterday (11), a total of 30,613 persons have been confirmed COVID-19 positive from all over the country.

As per the statistics of the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry 22,831 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,636 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated that the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from the Minuwangoda garment factory and Peliyagoda Fish Market clusters stand at 26,981.

Meanwhile, 18,853 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda fish market clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

By yesterday morning, Flight QR 668 from Qatar with 46 passengers arrived in Colombo. UL Flight 605 from Australia with 79 passengers, UL Flight 455 from Japan with 12 passengers, UL Flight 102 from the Maldives with 40 passengers, UL Flight 1208 from Italy with 64 passengers, UL Flight 504 with 70 passengers from the United Kingdom, UL Flight 320 from Malaysia with four passengers and MU Flight 232 from China with 30 passengers are expected to arrive in Sri Lanka. All arrivals will be referred to Tri-Services Quarantine Centres (QCs).

As of yesterday morning, 6,896 persons are still under quarantine at 65 Tri-Service-managed Quarantine Centres. On Thursday (10), 14,416 PCR tests were carried out.

Meanwhile, 146 COVID-19 fatalities have been reported so far in the country.
