The Budget proposal for 2021 is a well planned mechanism to build a national economy by placing confidence in local resources and human capital, Trade Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena said yesterday (17).
He added that it does not paint a rosy picture but a practical plan that the country can work for. He made these observations following Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill for Financial year 2021 in Parliament yesterday.
He said it has proposals to encourage in producing and manufacturing whatever possible locally and to win international markets.He added that hence that it is expected comparably a massive amount of funds will be pumped into the national economy.
